More of Our Boys Are Dying
It is time for America's withdrawl from Iraq. The people obvioulsy do not want us there, many American's dont want us there, and most of the world doesn't want us there. Therefore, we should retreat. I know why we don't because America is afraid terrorist leaders will once again occupy the region, but it is our boys being killed. Retreat from Iraq and let the United Nations do it. That is what the great and powerful Kofi wants anyway.

I think we should escalate before withdrawing. Take out the towns harboring the militants, wipe them out entirely. Pulling out now would only serve to weaken our image and make the deaths in vain. And quite frankly, whatever reasons were stated for going to war in Iraq we damn well better get our hands on their oil before we leave. Call me an imperialist if you want...

As much as it pains me, I mostly agree with GL. God, I can't believe I said that....
I questioned whether we should have been there in the first place, but that's water over the dam now. We are there, we have lost soldiers, and while I don't believe we need to make this a permanent occupation, I agree with GL that before we leave we need to make a serious statement. What that would be, I can't say. But to just leave now would send the wrong message.
